What is your VPN Service?
VPN stands for Virtual Private Network. Our service offers a highly secure way of connecting your computer or smart phone to one of our anonymous remote servers. Once you are connected, any internet activity you do is encrypted, anonymized and your real IP address is hidden. All of our servers are on extremely fast speeds and we have no way of monitoring your traffic or websites you visit.
How do you set it up?
Once you are a member with us, we will give you full instructions on how to configure our VPN server to your devices. You will still need to use your current Internet Service Provider to connect to our server. We run PPTP which allow you to use almost any operating system such as Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Mac OSX, etc. which require NO additional software downloads to connect to our VPN. Androids and iPhones also have PPTP VPN feature built in under Settings, Network and you can tunnel all your cell phone data through our encrypted server.
PPTP blocked in China, Dubai, Oman, UAE, and Belize
Some countries have banned the PPTP protocol which is used to VPN. If you are located in China, Obam, Duabi, Belize, or United Arab Emirates — our VPN system will still work for you. However, this does require a small download which is similar to OpenVPN and then you will have access to our anonymous VPN server. Our backup VPN server runs LogMeIn’s Hamachi which is 256-bit encrypted on all communication relaying through it. After signing up and you can’t use the PPTP system from your location, please just request access to the Hamachi VPN by opening a support ticket. Note: If you must use this software VPN, we support all major operating systems which are Windows 2000, 2003, 2008, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Linux and Mac OS.
Do I get assigned a new IP addess each connect?
If you use our PPTP VPN Server, you will be assigned a new anonymous IP address each time you connect from our available pool. Once you are connected, the IP address you are assigned for that session will not be made available or shared by any other users on the system until you disconnect. You can be assigned your own anonymous dedicated IP address that no one will have access to use if you request access to our software VPN server.
Why would I want to use a VPN server?
There are many reasons to use a personal VPN from us.
* To protect your real identity and hide your IP address.
Every website you visit logs your IP address. You can determine somene’s real identity and location with an IP address.
* Search engines are logging you
Google, AOL, Yahoo, Bing, and many more often log every search you make with your IP address. By using our VPN service, we are masking and concealing your identity.
* Work, school, or country cenorship
Often your work place, high school or college, or even your country is censorsing your internet and only allows you to visit certain websites. By connecting to our VPN first, you can bypass these nasty filters and access the content you want. Start bypasing these blocks and access Facebook, Twitter, and anything else you want. Our VPN even works with YouTube, Skype, Netflix, Hulu, and any other VOIP (Voice Over IP) program.
* Wi-Fi Hot Spots
You usually have no idea who owns the WiFi you are really connecting to and you don’t know if anyone else is sniffing traffic on that network. Anytime you connect your computer or cell phone to a wifi, you are putting yourself at risk. After connected to a Wi-Fi spot, simply connect to our VPN on your computer or enable it in your cell phone and all the traffic will be encrypted and tunneled through our server to you. This will deter hackers, crackers, and sniffer programs from logging your websites, E-mails, and intercepting other sensitive information such as credit card numbers.
* Makes websites think you are located in the USA
For those located out in another country, our VPN service will put you somewhere located in the United States. This can be useful for those abroad overseas on using Hulu, Netflix, iTunes, or even PayPal. If you purchase a virtual credit card from us and use it on a service such as PayPal – often times your account will be limited and frozen because you are using a United States credit card on a foregin IP address. Connect to our VPN before online shopping with our cards.
* Easier to use than a Proxy Server
Although we offer proxy servers for users who require access to a web proxy, connecting to our VPN server is very simple and works with any program on your computer.
* No bandwidth or limit restrictions
We do not place any restrictions or close your account if you use a lot of bandwidth.
